Maggie is an alcoholic, so it seems likely that she was drunk at the time. And although the details haven’t been revealed yet, Maggie must have no memory of what occurred. There is no way she would let Will take the blame for something she did if she remembered doing it. But once the memories start coming back, Maggie will be distraught and want to do the right thing immediately.
One of the hardest things she will have to do is tell Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) and his father, Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) what really happened. It’s difficult to imagine what their reactions will be, but Maggie will have to summon the courage to tell them no matter what. But that will be just the beginning. Then there is the matter of going to the authorities.
In order for Will to be let go, Maggie will likely have to go to jail, or at least be arrested. Victor and Xander will also face criminal charges for covering up Maggie’s actions as well as framing Will. Whether or not Maggie will face prison time remains to be seen, but even if she doesn’t she will likely punish herself harder than any jail time could.
Will Maggie be revealed as Adrienne’s true killer? Will she, Victor and Xander be arrested and how long will it take for Will to go free? Some heartbreaking scenes are coming up, so stay tuned to Days of Our Lives airing weekdays on NBC.
