She uses every possible angle to convince him why it would be better to just let her go. But no matter how Kristen spins it, Eli has no intention of letting her escape again.

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Lani goes to the Salem Inn to give Kristen back her baby. When she walks in, she is surprised to find Eli there. It only takes a few moments for her to realize what he’s doing there. She is furious and angrily blasts the detective for betraying her trust. However, Eli has a job to do and he finishes up reading Kristen her rights and putting her in handcuffs. Lani is so angry at Eli that she walks out on him.

In the new issue of Soap Opera Digest, it is teased that Lani leaves Eli and ends up telling her father what happened. She is so furious right now that she isn’t thinking clearly. Abe encourages her to go back home and discuss the situation with Eli. The pregnant Salemite doesn’t really want to hear him justify betraying her trust.

After she is finished talking to Abe, Lani goes to the police station. She whips past Eli without saying a word to him. She has no intention of saying sorry and was trying to protect her BFF. But Eli doesn’t think he did anything wrong, either.
