Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Lani Pregnant – Considers Abortion, Eli Can’t Lose Another Child

NBC Days of Our Lives updates and spoilers reveal that this summer, Lani Price (Sal Stowers) learns she is pregnant. However, she isn’t happy about it and considers an abortion. Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) wants to keep the baby and can’t go through losing another child. This will be a huge struggle for “Elani.” What will they decide to do?

First Child Was Stillborn

DOOL spoilers reveal that this is not Lani’s first pregnancy. A few years ago, she learned that she conceived after a fling with Eli. At the time, she was with JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) and Eli was dating Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus). Lani thought JJ and Gabi were cheating when she was really trying to prevent JJ from killing himself.

Lani went into labor, but the child was stillborn. The detective had a really difficult time after the death of David Grant. She latched onto David Ridgeway (Kyler and Caleb Ends) for a bit. More recently, she admitted that if there was any chance of her having her baby turn up alive, she would do anything.

In the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest, it is confirmed that Eli proposes marriage in late May 2020. By the time summer rolls around, Lani will discover she’s pregnant again. Eli is thrilled about the baby. However, Lani doesn’t feel the same way.

Lani Price Considers Abortion

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that while Eli wants to be a father, Lani isn’t sure she wants to continue with the pregnancy. While she recently stated that she would do anything to have her son be alive, how can she abort her second chance to be a mother?

As fans recall, Lani was shell-shocked when David was stillborn. She is probably terrified that something like that could happen again. She doesn’t want to go through that pain and grief all over again. It took her a really long time to move on after her son’s death. For quite some time, she struggled.

She even got too attached to Jordan Ridgeway’s (Chrishell Stause) baby. It didn’t help that they both had the same name. In fact, Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) had to gently pull Lani away and take over caring for the child. It was really tough for Lani.
