Days of Our Lives spoilers indicate that fans will now know how and why Kristen DiMera’s (Stacy Haiduk) baby died. And while she did experience some pregnancy complications, her baby didn’t die because of that. In fact, it appears as though the real truth is going to come out soon and it will make Kristen feel complete rage. Here’s what you need to know.

On the day that Kristen was about to give birth, she was celebrating Mother’s Day with Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) and Brady Black (Eric Martsolf). Stacy Haiduk, who plays Kristen on the hit NBC soap, puts it this way to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, “Marlena’s not too happy to have Kristen in her home and John just deals with it. Kristen is feeling hopeful. She’s willing to try and throw out all the stuff from the past to be there because she loves Brady.”

Things then go relatively smoothly until Eric shows up and is upset to see Kristen. That’s when Kristen is left with Marlena. Stacy further explains, “They are having an intimate conversation when Kristen’s water breaks. It’s a Kristen pregnancy, so it’s intense. There’s some ups and downs, but because Brady’s upset.”

To make things even worse, the doctors find out that the umbilical cord is wrapped around the little baby’s neck. She is forced to push, otherwise the baby can suffocate. Kristen is absolutely devastated but wants to fight for this baby. Thankfully and just for the moment, Kristen ends up delivering a healthy baby girl.

During the time that Brady and Kristen are celebrating their baby girl, Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) arrives at the hospital. However, things take a shattering turn when Sarah’s baby suddenly dies. That’s when the swap happens and Haley Chen (Thia Megia) is forced to tell Kristen that her baby has died. Needless to say, Kristen goes into shock and can’t believe it for herself. Kristen is in such pain that she accidentally shoves Haley down a flight of stairs and kills her.

Kristen then returns to her hospital room in a zombie-like state. She can’t even speak. She feels so terrible that she can’t even speak. Of course, Days of Our Lives fans will have to tune in to find out what will happen next!
