Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Kayla Informs Steve She Has Moved On With Justin – Can He Win His True Love Back?

Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) will inform Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) that she has moved on with Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) in an upcoming episode of DOOL!

Days of Our Lives Spoilers – Kayla Brady Just Got Steve Johnson Back From A Life As Stefano DiMera

Days of Our Lives viewers will recall that Kayla just got Steve back from life as Stefano DiMera (Stephen Nichols) – a life that was contained in a booby-trapped microchip that she had to remove from the frontal lobe of his brain! Kayla feared that she may have lost Steve forever, as far as his mind, memories, and emotions were concerned, but he was more than ready for Dr. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) to try hypnosis on him and not even wait to see if he would remember on his own after his brain swelling went down from the surgery!

Marlena had mentioned that to Kayla as the possible cause for the post-surgical amnesia. But, Steve has come back, and he remembers all, evidenced by his grabbing Kayla’s hand in the Days of Our Lives weekly preview, and calling her “Sweetness!” Even his voice has returned to normal and he no longer sounds like Stefano! But now that he is back, Kayla will have some very unpleasant news for him.

DOOL Spoilers – Kayla Brady Will Have To Catch Steve Johnson Up On What He Missed While He Was Stefano DiMera

For one thing, Steve will not realize that Kayla sent him divorce papers which he, as “Steveano” signed. He won’t know that they are divorced, let alone that his sister Adrienne Kiriakis (Judi Evans) has died in a car accident – which is why it is possible for Kayla to have moved on with Justin! The Days of Our Lives Spring preview shows a scene of Kayla telling Steve his sister has died, and also a shot of him visiting her grave and weeping. Kayla will have to tell him all of this plus telling him she moved on with Justin.

He may have difficulty understanding why she would send the divorce papers and question the legality, considering he was not in his right mind when he signed them! Kayla will also take care to explain that she and Justin bonded and fell in love over their grief, him about Adrienne, and her about Steve supposedly not loving her anymore and signing the divorce papers, not even sending a sympathy card for Adrienne; but then no one knew that he had been kidnapped and turned into Stefano – there was no option at the time and they cannot go back and undo what has been done.

Kayla will tell Steve that she wrote him many letters and tried to call many times with no response at all for several months after he was supposed to be on his way home from having been in federal prison before he was found innocent of espionage, which had been because of Stefan DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) making his bionic eye into a spy eye!

Steve will still not have the memories of anything that he did as Stefano, and he will be upset and concerned over that time period too – but Kayla will assure him it is likely no charges will be filed that he would have to answer because it would be Stefano that would have to answer for them, not Steve.
