While on the ‘real’ Stefano’s trail, John and the ‘fake Stefano’ meet up with Tony and Anna and Europe. That’s where things will escalate. Tony says that he’s willing to do whatever it takes to find his father, but it’s Anna who has some very choice words.

Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, Stephan Nichols, who plays the new Stefano on the hit NBC soap, puts it this way in an interview, “Anna calls Stefano a twisted old spider, says he sucks the lifeblood out of his children and doesn’t have the guts to show his face; that even his own son is sickened by him.

And the kicker is that Stefano DiMera is nothing but a weak, pathetic coward. Stefano loses his composure and risks blowing his cover as he bursts forth, telling Anna that she just should do everyone a favor and shut up.”

Needless to say, things will be getting pretty dramatic and in more ways than one. Of course, Steve says that he is sticking up for common sense and that they are wasting their time listening to everyone whine and complain. The argument will escalate a second time around when Steve reminds John that he wasn’t around the last time that they searched for Stefano. As far as they know, Anna was carrying Count Antony around!

If that weren’t enough, it also appears as though Dr. Rolf is going to get involved in this big mess. Marlena, in the meantime, has been taken captive by Princess Gina. That’s when Stefano breaks the news that John is “dead.” This leaves Marlena devastated as she now believes that John is gone forever.
