Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that stepfamilies can get complicated, especially when you are the Johnsons of Salem. While Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) are bickering over Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams), they both get some good news. Joey Johnson (James Lastovic) brings the couple back together and there is temporary peace.
Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Tripp Dalton’s Troubled Return
DOOL spoilers reveal that there has been uncertainty about Tripp ever since his return. While we don’t think he raped Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold), he did sneak back into Salem and it seemed suspicious. He didn’t call Steve or Kayla to announce he would be coming home. He also made plans to transfer medical schools without discussing it with “Stayla,” who we presume are paying his tuition.
So, it seems that once this rape mystery is solved, we might find more out about Tripp’s time at school and why he suddenly returned without an explanation.
DOOL Spoilers – ‘Stayla’ Squabbles
In the meantime, Steve and Kayla are constantly fighting about Tripp. If this doesn’t get resolved soon, then the fan-favorite couple might break up again. In fact, Kayla pretty much gave Steve an ultimatum, and he was left with no choice but to tell Tripp to move out. Of course, his plans to talk to Tripp were interrupted by Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) turning up alive.
Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Joey Johnson’s Prison Release
Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Joey is going to get out of prison after serving four years for murder. The fact that the murder victim is alive brings the Johnson family together. Steve and Kayla hug their son and rejoice over Joey’s release. For the first time since Allie’s rape accusation, the family seems to be happy.
DOOL Spoilers – Family Gets Peace… For Now
Of course, if couples and families stay happy in soaps, it is pretty much a death sentence to their characters. It means there is no story and happiness doesn’t bring ratings, doesn’t keep actors employed and doesn’t keep soaps on the air. However, each conflict does bring a story of how it can be resolved or overcome.
So, Steve and Kayla might have peace and happiness when Joey is released, but it won’t stay that way. We have a feeling that Kayla might end up regretting making a deal with Ava. So, how will the Johnson family get through Tripp vs Allie and how will they get rid of Ava? We will have to keep watching the soap to find out.
