Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – It Irks Belle Brady To No End That Jan Spears Is Trying To Get Close To Her Daughter

Days of Our Lives viewers will recall that Jan and Belle Brady (Martha Madison) don’t exactly have the best history. Jan has been obsessed with and trying to lure Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) away from her for years, and Jan has done some very dangerous things in her time! It irks her to no end that Jan is trying to get close to her and Shawn’s daughter Claire!

It does seem a little creepy that a woman her parents’ age would be trying to be buddy-buddy with Claire, although it does happen that older people try to mentor younger ones, in a totally innocent manner. But Jan’s interest in Claire is anything but innocent, and Belle and Shawn fear the worst from Jan regarding Claire, but Belle is the most fearful! Jan has kidnapped Shawn twice in the past and was in a mental institution for many years.

Viewers who watched the Days of Our Lives online spinoff, “Last Blast Reunion” will recall that Jan tried to bomb the reunion party after having taken Shawn hostage and keeping him prisoner in an abandoned building. No one can blame Belle for expecting the worst out of Jan! With Belle and Shawn getting ready to remarry, Shawn will set Jan straight that there is no “Shawn and Jan” and that he is remarrying Belle! Will this be the trigger to send Jan off into cray-cray land again?

DOOL Spoilers – Jan Spears Manipulates Claire Brady Into Giving Her Information About Shawn Brady And Belle Blacks’ Wedding

Jan definitely has a plan concerning Shawn and Belle’s wedding, and she manipulates Claire into giving her all the details. She cons her into telling her time and place, although Jan doesn’t exactly plan to crash the festivities. She knows that with Shawn’s little sister’s wedding having been bombed, he might be on the lookout for that kind of thing – Belle certainly wouldn’t put it past Jan!

Jan will have to be careful not to leave any conversational trackbacks to herself when she gets her information from Claire. After all, she doesn’t want to leave a breadcrumb trail leading directly back to herself when she has completed her plot! She teases details out of Claire like if she knows if Shawn and Belle will spend the night together or separately, according to the tradition of it being bad luck for the groom to see the bride in her dress before the wedding.

Some hold to a tradition of it being bad luck for the groom to spend the night with the bride before the wedding as well, even if they normally live together anyway! Claire tells her, possibly thinking the tradition is silly, where her mother will be before the wedding. On the morning of the wedding, Jan arrives at the Salem Inn to the room Belle is staying in – with a wedding gift! Belle finally takes it to get rid of Jan – but will there be an explosive surprise coming?
