Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Gwen’s True Motivations Leave Jake Stunned

NBC Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) learns the truth about Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash). She is crushed that he isn’t Stefan DiMera. Jake goes back to Gwen (Emily O’Brien). However, he soon discovers that they want two different things. He wants his old life back, but Gwen wants the DiMera fortune.

DOOL spoilers reveal that when Ivan Marais (Ivan G’Vera) tells the truth about Vivian Alamain’s (Louise Sorel) delivery, everyone is shocked. Nobody knew Stefan had a twin, not even the boys’ mother. When Gabi realizes that she was wrong and Jake isn’t her dead husband, she is absolutely crushed.

Jake Lambert Empathetic

It is teased that Gabi tells Jake to go back to Gwen, but then she completely falls apart. Once again, she feels like she has lost her true love. Even though Jake is glad that Gabi will finally leave him alone, he can’t help but feel sympathetic toward her.

DOOL Spoilers – Gwen’s True Motivations

Days of Our Lives spoilers from the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest reveal that Jake leaves the police station and meets up with Gwen. Jake tells her that he’s glad the whole thing is over with and he can get back to his old life. However, that is when it is revealed that Jake and Gwen find importance in two different things. Barash explained to the magazine, “[The money] matters much more to Gwen than it does to Jake.”

A Simple Set-Up?

It seems that this whole thing might be set up by Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn). He told Gwen about the money and power of the DiMera family. He was most likely trying to cause a division between Gabi and Stefan, not realizing that Jake is actually the dead man’s twin. However, now Jake will be in a tough spot. Does he stay with Gwen, who wants her hands on the fortune? Or does he partner up with Gabi to keep Gwen away from it, but risk much more because of her obsession?

Perhaps Chad knows the quandary his brother will find himself in. He could solve all his troubles by offering to buy him out, but will Gwen and Gabi really allow that to happen? It sounds like some triple-crossing and complications are in the works for all of these characters.
