Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers say in Salem rejected Gabi Hernandez DiMera’s (Camila Banus) luck will eventually turn around. It’s obvious Jake Lambert’s (Brandon Barash) romance with Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) isn’t going to be a lasting one. Kate is just serving as a hurdle in Jake and Gabi’s love story. It won’t be long until Jake accepts that he can’t fight fate.

After all, it seems like the universe has brought Gabi and Jake together. Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) rocked Gabi’s world before Jake wound up in Salem. Who’s to say dead Stefan’s spirit didn’t have a hand in that? Maybe Stefan’s pulling the strings beyond the grave and trying to make sure Gabi has the next best thing: his twin brother.

Regardless, Gabi has found something special with Jake as well. Although Jake’s personality is nothing like Stefan’s, Gabi was able to appreciate Jake’s good qualities – at least until all this Kate drama went down!

Since Gabi got engaged and married Stefan quickly, Days may come up with a reason for Gabi and Jake to do the same. Their love story isn’t all that different from the one Gabi had with Stefan. DOOL fans know Stefan and Gabi drove each other crazy sometimes, but that also lit the fire between them. Their complicated relationship was part of the draw.

Gabi roped Stefan into a marriage as part of a scheme, but their love became genuine and something they could build a real future on. Sadly, that future was cut short by Stefan’s tragic death.
