Will Horton (Chandler Massey) questions Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) about the night of the accident that killed his mother-in-law, Adrienne Kiriakis (Judi Evans). As Days of Our Lives, viewers will recall, Will was framed to cover up for Maggie’s drunk driving by Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) and Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) after finding Maggie passed out in her car not far from the crash when he was on his way to take Sarah Horton, (Linsey Godfrey) who was in labor, to the hospital.

Maggie remembers wanting to drink – being upset by her oldest daughter’s visit, Summer Townsend (Marie Wilson) who had blamed Maggie for “genetic alcoholism” and her dying from liver failure, and Maggie couldn’t get ahold of Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) who it turned out was at the hospital with Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) who had gone into labor also.

Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) resorts to desperate measures as she tries to keep Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) from being arrested and taken away by Detective Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) who has showed up at the door of the gatehouse!

After pleading with him not to bring Ben in – even though he is within his rights to bring them in together since she is aiding and abetting a fugitive – she tries to buy more time for Ben, and for herself, to prove her theory of who might have really killed Ben’s sister Jordan Ridgeway (Chrishell Stause) by grabbing a baseball bat and knocking Rafe out from behind! Ben is shocked – she could have killed Rafe or caused a massive head injury!

Meanwhile, Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) faces a bleak future as she sits in the jail at the Salem Police Department, still shackled to a table. She knows she has prison time ahead of her again unless she can convince them to take some kind of deal – if she only had something to offer!

She has put in a call to Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) instead of her attorney, probably hoping he will try to convince his father, Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) to defend her but he’s not likely to take the job! Threatening to literally blow up a well-loved senior lady’s heart is simply indefensible as well as unforgivable!

Meanwhile, Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) is shocked when she finds out who the donor match for Mackenzie Horton’s (Josephine and Rosalind May) bone marrow transplant is! She knows that it doesn’t have to be a family member, it could even be a total stranger, but it being this person really throws her for a loop! She NEVER in a million years thought this person could possibly be a bone marrow donor match for Mackenzie, but she is certainly glad one has been found!
