Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Eric Martsolf and Stacy Haiduk Talks About Their Unique, Wild Pairing

In an interview with Soap Opera Digest, Eric Martsolf and Stacy Haiduk talked about their experiences as the power couple, Brady Black and Kristen DiMera, on “Days of Our Lives.”

When it comes to the history of their pairing, Haiduk said she’s flattered, confused, and thinks of it as crazy, too! But for Martsolf, he believes it’s perfect! The latter said he’s always been a huge fan of Brady and Kristen. Their relationship on screen in perfect because they’re just like real-life couples who are trying to make the most out of their flawed relationship.

“ That’s what makes them so perfect. One day, it could be the most beautiful day in the world. The next day, it’s like they hate each other and they’re fighting. Then they make up. It’s a roller coaster,” Haiduk added.

If there is one thing that Martsolf has learned from Brady and Kristen, it’s the true meaning of love. It’s not all about holding hands and always feeling happy. It also involves weathering hardships and having a support system when things get tough.

For the actor, what Brady and Kristen have is a “crazy, stupid love for one another.”

Martsolf believes that the couple’s dysfunctional relationship is what makes them loved by the viewers. Fans can relate to the couple because what they have isn’t the cliché super romance love story where nothing goes wrong.

Haiduk and Martsolf revealed that they both knew nothing about each other before they started working together. Martsolf recalled that they met on set. When they started filming scenes, the pair just hit it off right away.

The pair said they love working with Arianne Zucker, the actress who plays the role of Nicole Walker on “Days of Our Lives.”

Martsolf describes her as a “circus in a box.”

“As a performer, you think of all the different things that happen in a ring of a circus. You’ve got a trapeze artist. You’ve got a lion jumping through fire,” he explained.

“That’s Ari. You really never know where she’s going to be coming from. She’s tough as nails, and Stacy is, as well. It’s a lot of fun to watch those two play soap opera ping-pong,” he shared.
