As viewers know, Sarah and Kristen gave birth on the same day. Sarah had been involved in a terrible car accident that claimed the life of Adrienne Kiriakis (Judi Evans). But she thought that her baby survived because Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) and Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) knew that Maggie Horton (Suzanne Rogers) had driven drunk. There was no way Victor was going to let Maggie go on with the knowledge that she killed her own granddaughter that night. So they gave Sarah a little miracle, but it was really Brady and Kristen’s little girl.

DOOL Spoilers – Sarah Horton Has Raised Mackenzie “Mickey” Horton For Almost A Year Now

Sarah has raised Mickey and has been there as the little girl suffered from cancer and had to have a bone marrow transplant. It didn’t look like they would be able to find a match, but luckily Gabi Hernandez (Camilla Banus)was a match for little Mickey so after months of not knowing if Mickey would even survive, she is finally on the road to recovery.

After fighting that hard, Sarah won’t want to give up so easily. She may even consider filing for full custody, but in the end, there is no way she would Kristen away from her daughter.

But the road to getting there will likely take quite a while. Sarah will also have to deal with the fact that her own mother is responsible for Sarah’s daughter’s death. Sarah will end up doing the right thing, but not before dealing with her grief. She won’t see clearly for quite a while and during that time, she’ll likely fight Kristen every step of the way.
