Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Clyde Wants To Break Out With Prison – Will Ben Come Up With A New Scheme?

Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that Clyde Weston (James Read) will suggest to his son Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson), who is currently on death row, that they should break out of prison in an upcoming episode of Days of Our Lives!

Ben Weston Lost His Final Appeal And Is Sitting On Death Row

As Days of Our Lives viewers will recall, Ben lost his final appeal and short of a miracle, will be executed for the murder of his sister, Jordan Ridgeway (Chrishell Stause) and his father, Clyde thinks that they can solve both their problems by breaking out of prison and living the lives of fugitives! Ben won’t go for that idea at all – and especially not with his abusive father! Ben well knows that all it would cause is worse problems for both of them, and his father is narcissistic enough to think that no one will ever find them and that they will never be caught! Clyde might have his contacts on the outside, but just because he’s king of the hill inside the walls of the men’s part of the prison, it doesn’t mean that he’s the boss in the outside world!

Ben Weston Won’t Leave The Prison No Matter How Attractive Clyde Weston Tries To Spin It

Ben knows that his girlfriend Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) and even his attorney Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) will continue to try and find evidence to exonerate him up until the day of execution, if necessary, and Justin would file for a stay of execution based on new evidence. But the evidence has to be not only substantial, but also substantiated – just overhearing someone admit something or even recording it on her cell phone won’t be admitted as evidence – it would be treated as hearsay, and not admissible in any kind of court. Ben and Ciara were going on the theory that because Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) had had Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) knock him out and bring him to the Kiriakis mansion shortly before Jordan was found strangled, and Victor tried to strangle Ben, and Ben had asked him to put a hit on Jordan and then changed his mind, that Victor must have found a way to kill two birds with one stone by framing Ben for killing Jordan – that way he could keep Ciara safe from both of them! The theory makes perfect sense, but other Days of Our Lives spoilers say it won’t be Ben that Xander and Victor framed!

Clyde Weston Won’t Win Any Father Of The Year Awards But He Won’t Leave His Son To Die Alone In Prison

Clyde won’t win any father of the year awards, but he won’t leave his son to die alone in prison and he won’t leave him unprotected from other inmates (even though Clyde has beat Ben up himself, but that’s different!) so if Ben refuses his “helpful suggestion” and refuses to break out of prison with him, then Clyde will more than likely stay. Justin and Ciara, in the meantime will have to work hard to keep Ben from being executed – but they will have to start looking for the real killer and prove the real killer killed Jordan!
