DOOL spoilers reveal that Jan found a way to get into Belle and Shawn Brady’s (Brandon Beemer). It was through their daughter, Claire, who was recently released from Bayview. She used the mental health angle in order to gain Claire’s sympathies and to think they are alike. However, their two situations are completely different. While Claire got help for her psychiatric issues, Jan has always been and always will be a demented sociopath.

When Jan approached Claire, the two had already “bonded” when Belle walked in. She was furious and horrified to find that Jan had gotten to her daughter. However, Jan played innocent and pretended that she was just trying to help. She even conveniently brought flowers and said how sorry she was to hear about Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal). While Belle didn’t buy any of it, Claire was fooled because Jan was being so nice.

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Marlena will even confront Claire about her “new friend.” The psychiatrist will give Claire a bit of a history lesson on the soap villain. She will even make it clear to Claire that she needs to stay far away from Jan because she is a sociopath. Those kinds of people don’t ever change and she has ulterior motives for befriending Claire.

Despite all the warnings from different people, Claire is grieving the loss of her best friend and aunt, Ciara. She feels guilty and wishes that they had more time together. Not only will she be grieving, but she feels that people treated her the way Jan is being treated.

She doesn’t understand that their two situations are not similar at all. Unfortunately, this could lead to an explosive ending and Claire might end up regretting falling for Jan’s scheme. Will this be a mistake that Claire can survive or is it already too late?
