Days of Our Lives News: Alum Olivia Rose Keegan Lands New Exciting Gig

Also known for her role as Claire Brady on “Days of Our Lives,” Olivia Rose Keegan has landed a new exciting gig. The actress joined the cast of Disney+’s “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series” on a recurring guest role. The series aired as a preview simulcast on Disney Channel, ABC, and Freeform on November 8, 2019 but its official launch was on November 12.

The series is created by Tim Federle and is inspired by the High School Musical film series. Chorus Boy and Salty Pictures serve as its producers. Oliver Goldstick was the showrunner of the show’s first four episodes. The remainder of the first season was helmed by Federle.

The series follows the story of a group of teenage theater enthusiasts who participate in a staging of High School Musical: The Musical as their school production. The show has been renewed for a second season back in October 2019, well before it was launched on Disney+.

“Days of Our Lives” is known for bringing back some fan favorites who’ve already left the show. Olivia Rose Keegan is no exception. Viewers may recall that Keegan reprised her role as Claire Brady last year for the show’s Holloween special where she broke out of Bayview with the help of Jordan Ridgeway (Chrishell Stause).

Fans of the show were delighted to see her character wreak havoc on Salem during that time. Given that it was only a fantasy version, many of them are still hoping that Keegan will return to reprise her role for a longer period. Claire is working hard to recover from her mental issues offscreen and viewers are still wishing to see her back on Salem soon.

Some viewers are speculating that she may make a brief return as spoilers hint that Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) will prepare for a wedding this year. There’s no news that Keegan’s back on set but fans are excited to see if Claire would reappear. She may crash the wedding or she could return as a fully rehabilitated Claire. The show has many ways to bring Claire back to the show. But for now, her followers can catch her on Disney+’s “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series.”
