Days Of Our Lives News – Tamara Braun Says Her Return To Salem Has Felt Like a Whirlwind Of New Activity

According to the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest, Tamara says that her first day back at DOOL as her character Ava was certainly a whirlwind experience. The cast and crew of Days of Our Lives were the last of the four major soap networks to return to work after the global pandemic that has been the coronavirus hit back in March. Because of all the new social distancing guidelines put in place to help stop the spread of the virus, things have certainly looked much different since the last time Tamara was on the set of the show.

Tamara told the publication in a new interview, “With the new Covid-19 protocols and everything, and having to deal with wardrobe and hair and makeup, we didn’t have enough time before being called to set to run lines. The way we run lines now is, we use an app to do video calls – if it works! Sometimes, especially in the first month, it was sketchy with the Wi-Fi down there, getting connected and all that. But when we can’t do that, we just call each other on our dressing room phones and run lines.”

Tamara also says that working with her co-star Jay Johnson (Philip Kiriakis) has been a great experience, even though they haven’t had much time to prep before their scenes. She said, “I think he is so interesting! Such an interesting actor!
