Days of Our Lives Comings and Goings: Jen Lilley Returning To Salem?

When Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) called Theresa Donovan (Jen Lilley) on the sly, many fans speculated that the character may soon return to Salem. Fans would love to see her character back on screen and it appears like even the actress who plays like the idea of reprising her role on “Days of Our Lives,” too.

Jen Lilley may no longer be with the sudser but she’s been keeping herself busy with various projects. But that doesn’t mean she hasn’t thought of returning to Salem as Theresa.

“I think about it all the time. Being on a soap is like being with family, and the atmosphere is so welcoming,” Lilley said in an interview with Soap Opera Digest.

“I really miss the cast and acting opposite Eric Martsolf [Brady Black]. I trust him as an [actor],” she added.

Unfortunately, the actress won’t be able to return to the sudser full time has given that she’s doing a lot of projects with Hallmark recently. But, she’s definitely open to visiting Salem even for a short stint.

It was so easy for me when I returned for 12 weeks [in 2018] to have a performance that I was proud of because I had amazing co-stars,” she said.

Lilley joined “Days of Our Lives” as Theresa Donovan back in 2013. She left the soap in 2016 but return for a short stint in 2018. Since leaving the show, the actress has worked on several projects with Hallmark Channel including “Mingle All the Way,” “Winter Love Story,” “Love Unleashed,” and “Angel Falls: A Novel Holiday.”

The actress is also a talented singer. She performed in a benefit concert back in 2014. In 2015, she released her first Christmas album called “Tinsel Time.” In 2018, she debuted her studio single, “King of Hearts” from the album called, “Lilley.”

Some fans say that now is the best time for Lilley to reprise her role on “Days of Our Lives.” Viewers may recall that Victor recently called Theresa to check if her and Brady Black’s (Eric Martsolf) son Tate Black (Colin and Kyle Shroeder), is a bone marrow match for Mackenzie Horton (The May Twins). Unfortunately, these are all rumours. There hasn’t been any official statement that Lilley is returning to the sudser. Fans just need to stay tuned to find out if Theresa will return to Salem and what storyline would bring her back to the small screen.
