The pair published their first book called “Like Sands Through the Hourglass” in 2005. The memoir detailed their lives both onscreen and offscreen along with accounts of their experiences as Dough Williams and Julie Olsen Williams.
Then they worked on the novel titled “Trumpet,” which was about a heroine named Lizzie, who ages from a 16-year-old innocent to maturity. The story is set in England through the years 1803-1821.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Characteristics of a Great Story
According to the pair, a great story must have “Truth, wit, and change.”
“We love good dialogue and really got into the scenes, reading them aloud together. Our characters are people we have known well, and we can hear them talking in our dreams sometimes. Really,” the pair said.
“So, there’s truth. Wit? We love humor, because life is largely funny—especially for actors with their large egos and strong grasp on unreality. As for change, all drama is based on it. Circumstances change people, so our ladies and gentlemen move through plots that are guaranteed to make them twist and develop,” they explained.
Days of Our Lives Spoilers For The Week of January 13
Back to “Days of Our Lives.” Viewers may recall that Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) was used by Gabi DiMera (Camila Banus) to blackmail Lani Price (Sal Stowers) and force her to leave Eli at the altar. She’ll tell JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) that Gabi threatened to kill Julie with the pacemaker app on her phone unless she dumps Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) on the altar.
JJ will be horrified at the revelation and will try to get hold of Gabi’s phone and disable the pacemaker app. Spoilers also hint that he’ll talk to Eli and tell him he can’t marry Gabi because Lani still loves him.
