Sharing a throwback photo of herself, Camilla urged the citizen of the UK to remain calm, despite the fact that many believe we are living in very uncertain times right now. She addressed those who might be living in fear right now, but not just because of the virus, but also because of what might be happening behind their closed doors while the country remains in lockdown.

The caption said, “This is a hard time for everyone, as we are all asked to stay at home to stay safe. But for some of you it is even harder, because home is not a safe place. I can only imagine that being asked to stay there could feel very isolating and frightening for you and your family. It may mean spending more time with the person who is harming you.”

Camilla then went on to say that even though a lot of people cannot leave their homes right now, there’s still a way that they can reach out for help. She urged those worried about their personal safety to call the National Domestic Abuse Helpline or to contact one of the domestic abuse charities in their area.

The Duchess continued, “Even if you cannot leave your home, you can call the National Domestic Abuse Helpline or contact one of the domestic abuse charities. Please stay safe and get help. If you are in immediate danger, please call 999 and ask for the police.”

So far Buckingham Palace has not released any additional statements about the coronavirus or about Prince Charles’ condition for that matter.
