The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document the iconic soap’s anticipated return to production in early July will include a number of day-to-day workplace changes. However, preparations for additional actors being needed are also likely in the show’s developing plans.

Fans may recall when understudies have filled in for various actors in the past. Romantic scenes are a hallmark in the daytime. In order to keep as much realism as possible in the show, B&B announced that dolls, actor’s spouses, or their significant others may become part of the filming process.

Dolls have long been used in the entertainment industry as part of so-called trick photography. Those objects appear as part of the periphery or non-central focus of a shot. When positioned skillfully, the audience shouldn’t be able to tell when the replacement humans are utilized.

Kudos to B&B for recognizing that the actor’s loved ones are both realistic and safe replacements for contracted actors in such shots. That strategy is ingenious and surely will allow those who use that option to work safely.

The Bold And The Beautiful Soap Spoilers – Acting Credentials Not Required

Some actor’s spouses are actors. Don Diamont’s (Bill Spencer) wife, Cindy Ambuehl, has worked in the business and would surely be ready to work a scene with him when called upon if she would like to. But other spouses, or significant others, wouldn’t need acting credentials. In either instance, the individual’s face wouldn’t appear in the shot.
