’90 Day Fiance’: Chuck & Charlie Relieve Stress By Stomping Grapes, But Can’t Make Up For Andrei’s Behavior

TLC’s “90 Day Fiancé-Happily Ever After” stars Chuck and Charlie Potthast might be relieving some family stress by stomping grapes in the upcoming episode “Compromising Positions” but it hasn’t gotten rid of the sour grapes caused by Andrei Castravet’s previous behavior!

Andrei decides to take the whole family – Elizabeth, Eleanor, Jenn, Chuck and Charlie, as well as Elizabeth’s mother Pamela and stepfather Walter to a traditional Moldovan village for an outing, where they get to see how wine is made.

There are vineyards with lots of grapes and there is a type of machine that resembles a huge funnel with a crank, where the grapes are put in to be crushed the more modern way, similar to crushing tomatoes in a food mill to strain them to make puree or juice. Andrei is hoping this family outing will relieve stress caused by the uproar between them all over the last few days, and that Jenn and Charlie will not try to make more trouble.

Of Elizabeth’s sisters, Jenn is the most critical of Andrei, and is always taking digs at him – she had even interrogated Ina, Radu’s wife about Andrei previously. They talk in the SUV on the way to the village, and Charlie remarks that Moldova has pretty girls.

To the TLC producers, Chuck says regardless of anything else, he, Charlie and Jenn will continue to keep an eye on Andrei because they are all still very suspicious of what he might be hiding about his past, and they are still intent on discovering exactly what it is!

TLC 90 Day Fiance’ Spoilers – The Family Arrives At The Vineyards

The family arrives at the vineyards, and when they get out of the SUV Elizabeth immediately discovers a cute goat; the goat is friendly, and she, Jenn, and Eleanor all pet it as Elizabeth remarks how cute it is. Andrei then directs everyone over to the large table with the grape crushing apparatus on it and turns the crank himself, to show how it works and how the grapes turn into juice after being crushed.

One of the men asks about if they still stomp grapes with their feet in Moldova as they have seen, possibly in old travelogues about Italy, and Andrei points out a big wooden tub with grapes in it as one of the women says they wouldn’t drink wine from grapes someone’s feet were in! Chuck and Charlie decide to have some fun and take off their socks and shoes, and one of them remarks as long as they don’t have to drink from what they’ve stomped, why not?

The two of them get in the tub barefooted and stomp grapes! Everyone has fun, and Charlie even says they’ve gotten along better with Andrei on this outing than they ever have – but again to the camera crew only, they say they are still suspicious of Andrei and it doesn’t make up for what happened before, probably referring to the near fight that Andrei and Charlie recently had in a restaurant!
