The bride-to-be is getting alone fine with her to-be groom. Love isn’t a question with this enduring and endearing couple. Instead, it’s whether the characters that surround them will behave leading into and on the big day.

That’s why he purposely brought up Abby Newman’s (Melissa Ordway) wash out with Summer Newman (Hunter King) at ‘Kola’s’ combined bachelor and bachelorette party.

One of the reasons why he sought out Summer and sees her as an ideal playmate is because she sports a similar personality type. But Summer cares about Kyle and has been developing a real connection with Lola since the transplant.

All of the many times Theo has upset Kyle’s New York history Big Apple cart clearly indicates that wedding day chaos is likely planned. Kyle may be preparing safeguards to counteract his former friends expected exploits.

No, Sylvester Stallone’s Rocky Balboa character won’t be working on the bag with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and then attending ‘Kola’s’ wedding as part of a celebrity cameo appearance. So, Rocky’s famous call to his wife, Adrian Balboa (Talia Shire), won’t make its way into the script.

Adrian Rosales (with casting yet to be known) is Lola’s father. His only daughter and both sons are known to have deep-seeded, negative feelings for their dad because he cheated on their mother, Celeste Rosales (Eva LaRue).

However, Celeste’s reveal to Lola and Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso), along with Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) offer to Kyle to fly to Miami, Florida, so he can can convince Mrs. Rosales to return for the wedding, likely also means that Adrian will tag along.

Adrian is known to be reconciling with Celeste and has been writing to Lola lately. If the above assumption proves true, the Rosales family will be reunited in Genoa City, Wisconsin, with fireworks surely possible.

Calle’s addition to the cast completed the Rosales’ sibling count, as Lola became the referenced little sister of Rey and Arturo Rosales (Jason Canela). Her work with Mealor has proven to be solid, with both actors possessing on-screen chemistry that’s made ‘Kola’ a couple that certainly reminds fans of their own early-20’s relationships.

Here’s hoping that Lola and Kyle complete their I do’s with whatever drama is written around them. Serious storylines and topical issues need to be balanced by feel-good stories and this can be one of them.
