Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: J.T. Mystery Exposes Truth About Tessa – The Victim Or Villain?

Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: J.T. Mystery Exposes Truth About Tessa - The Victim Or Villain?Viewers of ‘The Young and the Restless’ haven’t been given enough information to know if Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) is really a villain, or is just a patsy at this point in the plot. Her recently revealed actions surely make her a suspect in what has become the frame of Victor (Eric Braeden), but that take doesn’t represent hard evidence.

Fairbanks initially light-hearted character was deepened as having a troubled past more than a year ago when her sister Crystal’s (Morgan Obenreder) crisis was presented. The human trafficking storyline was then revisited last summer when Tessa claimed to be in Canada.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Are Tessa’s Attackers Real?

Did Mariah (Camryn Grimes) actually hear Tessa being threatened during that time? Later, after Miss Porter’s return to Genoa City, unseen assailants are said to have physically attacked her. Bruises seemed to confirm that claim.

But is it unfair to question the truthfulness of Tessa’s words? In a one-word answer, yes. Nevertheless, she could eventually be vindicated as not being the person who has been creating mayhem for the Newman’s and others on Y&R.

Tessa stated to Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), Vickie (Amelia Heinle), and Sharon (Sharon Case), under perceived threat of death, that she knew nothing about J.T.’s (Thad Luckinbill) body being moved from Chancellor Park. Her presence in the car with those three members of the coverup crew appeared to also clear her of involvement in dramatic developments that were occurring at that exact moment in this stretched arc. So Tessa was telling the truth then, right?

Young And The Restless – Is Tessa Supposed To Be The Villain or Victim?

Fairbanks engaging character may have simply needed money to pay off the coyotes who shuttled Crystal to a seemingly safe location last year. However, whenever someone lies the presumption of truth isn’t instantly restored. Instead, it’s possibly, though never certain, to restore integrity over time.

Y&R continues to write Tessa on two levels. She could have simply been justifying her blackmail actions as part of defending Crystal, or Tessa’s real persona may have been covered since Nikki first saw her outside of Crimson Lights picking those guitar strings.
