Young and the Restless Spoilers: Will Sharon Keep Her Lover’s Secret?

“Young and the Restless” spoilers tease that Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) is trusting Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) with some major secrets about Mia Rosales (Noemi Gonzales), but is he doing the right thing?

Actor Jordi Vilasuso, who plays Rey on the hit CBS show, recently told CBS Soaps in Depth, “When he decides to reveal all these secrets – Mia wanted to retaliate against Abby when she pushed Lola into the pool and her infidelity with Arturo – Rey really wants to start on the right foot with Sharon.

He really puts himself in a vulnerable position, but he’s like, ‘No more secrets between us!’ He really wants to do the right thing for Sharon and just put everything on the table for her.”

At the same time, Rey also wants to do what’s right for Mia, seeing how they are still married. Jordi adds, “He wants to keep Mia and her secret safe. He warns Sharon, ‘This is going to put you in a difficult position, but I don’t want to live this secret life.’ She does understand that there is this enormous responsibility that comes with this information.”

But then again, will Mia retaliate? Jordi further explains, “Mia is the wild card here. She will not be happy when Rey reveals that he’s shared her secret with Sharon. While Rey feels that there is not more of a trustworthy person in this world than Sharon, Mia might not see it that same way. And you really don’t want to fuel her fire because she is so impulsive and doesn’t think before she acts. Mia being a thorn in Rey’s side is not going to go away.”
