Young And The Restless Spoilers: Will Devon’s Hesitation Cause Him To Lose Another Chance At Love?

With the recent death of his father Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John), the Young And The Restless’ Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) isn’t sure what he wants out of life anymore.

Spoilers tease the billionaire businessman was getting ready to move on with a new love interest, Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpi). He had asked Elena to attend the opening of his new restaurant Society with him and she was happy to oblige. The pair looked cozy together as they mingled and shared a dance.

Then Devon went home to check on his dad and it changed everything. He found Neil unconscious in bed and called paramedics, who rushed to Devon’s condo but weren’t able to save him.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Too Much Heartache

Devon has already faced a lot of heartache on the Y&R in his young life. Just last year he lost his wife Hilary Curtis (Mishael Morgan) and their unborn child in a tragic car accident caused by his sister Lily Winters (Christel Khalil).

Hillary passing away and the death of his unborn child devastated Devon on Y&R. He blamed Lily for his wife’s death at first and he mourned Hilary for months. Devon then began partying too much to cover-up his depression and he shut out his friends and family.

After seeing a psychiatrist, he seemed to get his life back on track. So, what will this latest setback mean for Devon?

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Pointless Feelings Of Guilt

He feels guilty that he made his father rush back to Genoa City for the opening of his new restaurant and has already started to blame himself. He thinks maybe he caused his father undue stress that may have led to Neil’s untimely demise.

Spoilers indicate Devon will begin to question if he is ready to move on romantically, even as he finds himself attracted and drawn to Elena, who is currently a soothing presence in his life. Will his hesitation lose him another chance at love?

Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) met Elena at the Society opening and seemed attracted to her. There has been Y&R viewer speculation that Nate will also vie for Elena’s affections. But will he swoop in and woo Elena away from Devon? Tell us what you think in our comments section.
