The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that a casting shakeup will send two of Genoa City’s families in a panic. Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) and Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) are getting a new family member to give the family more roots and increase their longevity.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Eva LaRue will debut on Wednesday, June 26 as Celeste Rosales, Rey, Arturo, and Lola’s mother looking to spend time with her children. And, if she happens to bump into an eligible man in the process, that’s just an added bonus, right? Here’s what you need to know about what’s ahead on Y&R.

The only real detail that EW gave the Y&R viewers is Celeste will have a very complicated relationship with her children and they will not be thrilled by her move to Genoa City. At first, it sounded like Eva would only appear in a few episode, suggesting that she would appear for a special event.

Many Y&R fans jumped to the conclusion that her visit suggested Rey and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) would tie the knot. But that’s not the case. She scored a contract role, so she will be around for a little while.

Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) is in desperate need for a leading lady. His choices for love are not good at the moment. No one wants Jack will Phyllis Abbott (Michelle Stafford) anymore.

At least, not until they can find a way to redeem her. Right now, Phyllis has sunk to a new love and she is on her way to end up in a legal mess.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Lauren Fenmore Not Good Fit

And Lauren Fen more (Tracey E Bregman) is not a good fit either. She is married to Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) and the Y&R viewers love them together. If the writers try to break them up, fans might get really upset.

Celeste makes perfect sense to be Jack’s new love. Not to mention, it will bring drama for Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Lola as they consider their future.
