Young and the Restless Spoilers Wednesday, May 15: Rey Demands Paternity Test – Traci’s Falling for Cane – Phyllis’ Risky Revenge Move

“Young and the Restless” spoilers for Wednesday, May 15, tease that Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) will notice something about Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland). At Society, Lauren hears about Traci’s new book and comments on her glow. She thinks Traci looks like a woman in love, but Traci contends that she’s fine living the single life.

Lauren also mentions wanting to help Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) find someone special. She later mentions the idea to Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc), who doesn’t approve. Back with Traci, she’s joined by Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard). He got a letter from Lily, but Traci doesn’t want him to get his hopes up.

Later, Traci gets back to writing and imagines herself as Flynn’s (Daniel Goddard) secretary. She wants Flynn to see that he’s chasing a woman who will just keep breaking his heart. After Cane arrives with a suggestion for the book, Traci imagines he’s standing there shirtless and gets nervous. She covers by noting that Cane’s idea was behind her excitement.

Young and The Restless Spoilers: Jack Abbott Lets Phyllis Summer Know She Has Competition

At Jabot, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) lets Phyllis Summers (Gina Tognoni) know that she’s got competition. As payback for trying to access Jabot files, Jack intends to get into accessories, too. Phyllis fumes and promises to make Jack regret this. She takes a photo of the Jabot Collective logo before she leaves.

Meanwhile, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) drops the Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) bomb on Summer Abbott (Hunter King). She worries about the situation with Christian Newman (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen) and makes it clear that Nick is an awesome dad. After Phyllis shows up ranting about Summer’s betrayal, Nick gets updates on the Jabot file drama and thinks his ex has sunk even lower.

Phyllis fires back that Nick accessed Newman Enterprises’ files. That was part of his plan to start Dark Horse, so Nick has no room to talk. Summer mentions the Adam shocker to Phyllis before she exits. Phyllis marvels momentarily before Nick gives her advice about her life. He thinks Phyllis should fight for her own path instead of using people to get to the top.

When Phyllis meets up with Michael, she brings up anonymous shell companies and wants to know how to start one. Michael realizes Phyllis plans to do knockoff Jabot products and warns against it. Peddling counterfeit goods could get Phyllis in serious trouble. Talk ultimately turns to Adam’s survival, which Michael finds unbelievable.

Young and The Restless Spoilers: Summer Newman Complains About Kyle Abbott

Over with Summer, she complains to Jack about Kyle again. Summer just doesn’t feel like Kyle’s pulling his weight on their team. She also phones Theo Vanderway (soon-to-be Tyler Johnson) later and invites him back to Genoa City. Summer just might have a new partner in Theo soon.

In the park, Kyle gets Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) on board with living together, but they disagree on what spot to make their home. Lola doesn’t want to live on the Abbott property, but Kyle isn’t keen on taking over Arturo Rosales’ (Jason Canela) old apartment. However, Kyle eventually argues that anywhere will be fine as long as he’s living with Lola.

May 15 Y&R Spoilers: Rey Rosales Demands A Paternity Test

At the hospital, Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) doesn’t buy that Mia Rosales (Noemi Gonzalez) really had Braxton-Hicks contractions. He feels like Mia just wanted to avoid getting arrested by Paul Williams (Doug Davidson). They bicker along with Arturo, which leads Rey to the realization that Mia and Arturo are an item. Rey determines that they’re going to get a paternity test right then and there, so they do. After Arturo and Rey’s cheeks are swabbed, they learn the results won’t be available for 24 hours. Arturo pipes up that no matter what happens, this baby will have a supportive father and uncle.
