Young and the Restless Spoilers Wednesday, January 2: Abby Rages Over Victor Drama – Victoria and Billy Kiss – Guilt Hits Mariah

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Wednesday, January 2, tease that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will get spooked by her lip lock with Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard). At Cane’s place, they pull away from each other in shock. Victoria rushes out and heads home, but Cane goes after her. He wants to be sure their kiss will be kept a secret.

Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) shows up and derails their private chat, but they manage to cover. They fib that they were discussing their sons and the hit-and-run. Billy starts arguing with Cane about the accident, but Victoria pipes up that their private business will stay private.

Later, Billy reveals that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) was charged with J.T. Hellstrom’s (Thad Luckinbill) murder. Victoria’s upset and contends that Victor is innocent. She sighs about feeling like the universe is against her and Billy gets it. Victoria hints that she may need some support to handle everything and Billy assures her she’s got it. He gets a kiss in return.

Back with Cane, he finds Charlie Ashby (Noah Alexander Gerry) and gets him to come clean. Charlie’s remorseful about the harm that came to Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott). He explains that he talked Reed Hellstrom (Tristan Lake Leabu) out of confessing. Charlie’s concerned about Nikki’s condition, so Cane pulls him close for a hug.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Fen And Kyle Fight

At Crimson Lights, Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) walks in on Fenmore “Fen” Baldwin (Zach Tinker) and Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) shouting match. She realizes they’re fighting over her, so she insists that she doesn’t belong to anyone. Afterward, Kyle shares his troubles with Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway). She doesn’t think Kyle should throw in the towel just yet.

Next, Abby’s livid over a GC Buzz interview. She watches as Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) grills Rey Rosasles (Jordi Vilasuso) about Victor at the police station. Once Mariah wraps it up, Abby blasts her for making Victor seem guilty. She snarls that Victor will make Mariah pay when this is over.

Abby muscles her way into a visit with Victor (Eric Braeden), who promises his time in lockup won’t last forever. Victor hates that the terrible publicity might come back on Abby’s new restaurant. Abby finds Rey soon after and makes it clear that she intends to prove her dad is innocent.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Mariah’s Guilty Conscience

Mariah catches up with Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) at the GCAC and frets over the J.T. secret. She doesn’t like that she knows Victor didn’t do it and can’t say anything. Tessa points out that if Mariah comes forward, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) could go to prison. She feels like it be better for Victor to go down than Mariah’s mom.

Mariah’s still having trouble with all this, so Tessa suggests she can help Fen instead. He’s looking awfully blue nearby. After Mariah gives him a pep talk, Fen decides to get a rose and surprise Lola with it at the coffeehouse. Unfortunately, he arrives to find that Kyle and Lola have just made up.

Kyle reflects on his childhood and how his family showered him with presents to make him feel loved. He understands that’s not how Lola rolls and wants to do better. They’re kissing when Fen enters the patio door, so it seems he’ll have to look elsewhere for love!
