Young and the Restless Spoilers Tuesday, May 14: Adam’s Secret Plot Spells Trouble – Nick Warns His Brother – Summer Rats Out Phyllis

“Young and the Restless” spoilers for Tuesday, May 14, tease that Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will stand up for Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). At Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow), Sharon brings him up to speed on her visit with Adam. She also admits Adam is now back in Genoa City, which leaves Nick concerned about his brother coming for Christian Newman (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen).

However, Sharon contends that Adam only promised to stay a week. She doesn’t think Nick should get worked up and suggests keeping an open mind about Adam. At Newman Enterprises, Adam gets the tour but doesn’t remember anything. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) just wants to take this a step at a time and eventually takes Adam to see Nick.

Once Victor leaves these brothers alone, Nick mentions his doubts about Adam’s story. Adam insists he has no memories at all from before the explosion. Since Adam claims he doesn’t want any trouble, Nick softens a bit. He willing to give Adam a chance, but he won’t stand for any harm to his family.

Young and the Restless Spoilers: Adam Newman Thinks Sharon Newman Is His Only Friend

At the tack house, Victor makes sure Adam’s settled and points out that Sharon lives nearby. Sharon ends up coming over after Victor exits. She’s supportive to a frazzled Adam, who thinks Sharon’s his only real friend right now.

When Adam visits the cottage, he seems stunned for a moment. Sharon feels like there might’ve been a flash, but Adam notes that no breakthrough was made. He opts to leave, but he expresses his gratitude before he goes. Sharon lets Adam know she’s there if he needs her.

Y&R Spoilers: Nikki Newman Worries About Adam Newman Shaking Things Up

Next, Victor joins Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) at Newman. He reassures them, but Nikki worries about Adam shaking things up. Victoria also meets with Nick, who confesses that Adam seemed genuine. Victoria still feels like they have to stay on guard when it comes to their manipulative sibling. She fears Victor has something up his sleeve when it comes to Adam.

Back at the tack house, Adam has a big bag of cash. He looks around for a place to hide it and settles on the bar area. Adam also texts someone about everything going smoothly in GC, so there’s definitely more to the story here.

May 14 Y&R Spoilers: Kyle Abbott Puts Summer Newman In Her Place

Over with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), he puts Summer Newman (Hunter King) in her place about messing with his relationship. They also bicker about some work designs, but Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) ultimately orders the changes Summer wants. Later, Summer proves herself to Jack by ratting out Phyllis Summers (Gina Tognoni). She admits her mom was trying to look at Jabot’s latest files.

At Crimson Lights, Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) offers some advice. She doesn’t think it’s wise for Phyllis to stay connected to Jabot or the Abbotts. Lauren encourages Phyllis to build something new on her own. Afterward, Lauren has some guidance for Jack as well. She’s worried about him eating alone and thinks he should start dating again. Lauren feels like Jack thrives when he’s in a relationship.

Young and The Restless Phyllis Summers Confronts Jack Abbott

Phyllis gets a text from Jack and barges in to confront him. He points out that it’s a warning, so Phyllis is left to fume. In the park, Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) learns Kyle had a talk with Summer about boundaries. They enjoy a picnic, but Lola notes she’ll be working late. She figures she should stay at her place, but Kyle hints that maybe they should just have one place together.
