Young and the Restless Spoilers Tuesday, March 5: Kyle Willing to Marry for Summer’s Liver – Tessa’s Bad News – Michael’s Plea Deal Denied

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Tuesday, March 5, tease that Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) will grow concerned about the possibility of prison. At Crimson Lights, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) takes Tessa’s mind off it by suggesting a vacation. They go back and forth on ideas before agreeing to take a trip back to San Francisco when the trial’s over.

Soon after, Tessa gets troubling call and is summoned to the courthouse right away. Meanwhile, Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) rejects Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) offer to get on the stand. He doesn’t want Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) to testify either. Michael thinks Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) would rip their story to shreds. He contends that a plea deal is their best bet.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Michael’s Next Move

Once Victoria and Nikki are in, Michael mentions the idea to Christine and gets shut down. He updates Victoria and Nikki, who wonder what his next move is. Michael replies that he’s already made it. Just outside the courtroom, Tessa worries about Michael’s apparent strategy. She tells Mariah that he clearly wants her to get on the witness stand and testify to blackmailing the cover-up crew.

Meanwhile, Brittany Hodges (Lauren Woodland) has a different defense tactic in mind. She talks to Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) about Valentine’s Day, which was the night Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) declared his love and found the phone bill. Brittany argues that it was all a ploy to secure Sharon’s confession, but Sharon doesn’t buy that.

Over with Summer Newman (Hunter King), she comforts Phyllis Summers (Gina Tognoni) again before turning her attention to Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). He learns Summer is a liver donor match for Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle). Kyle doesn’t believe Summer at first, but she quickly convinces him. He’s eager to make this happen, but Summer wants to slow down and talk about this. It’s serious surgery!

Kyle goes with Summer to the athletic club and wonders what it’s going to take for her to do this. He vows to do anything Summer wants if she’ll just save Lola. Kyle even states that he’ll dump Lola and marry Summer if need be. It’s easy to see that Kyle is desperate.

Back with Phyllis, she heads over to Nick’s house and hopes they can work through their problems. Nick is still furious about Phyllis’ testimony and how she made all this worse for the others. He doesn’t think Phyllis has a soul, but she thought their love was worth the fight. Nick lets Phyllis know he’ll send her stuff to her later and insists she can see herself out.
