Young and the Restless Spoilers Thursday, May 30: Phyllis Enrages Lauren – Adam Calls Chelsea – Victoria Plans Attack

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Thursday, May 30, tease that Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will have some updates for each other. At home, Sharon talks to Rey about the reading of Neil Winters’ (Kristoff St. John) will. She fills him in on receiving Drucilla Winters’ (Victoria Rowell) jewelry before Rey mentions his new job offer at Dark Horse.

Sharon learns Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) hired Rey as head of security. She’s taken aback, but she gives her blessing. At Crimson Lights, Esther Valentine (Kate Linder) is rattled when she bumps into Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). He suggests catching up later, but Esther can’t shake the encounter. Sharon eventually finds Esther deep in thought and wants to be there for her.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Victoria Plots An Attack On Adam

At Dark Horse, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) pushes for a strategy session with Nick. She’s eager to deal with Adam, but Nick isn’t interested in negotiations. Victoria wants a sneaky way to attack Adam, but Nick bows out and takes off. He meets up with Rey to discuss what he’ll be doing in his new position.

Nick points out that surveillance on Adam is part of the deal. He’s got suspicions about Adam’s shooter and how all that played out. Nick wants Rey to protect the family, but he warns it’s best to leave Sharon out of the loop on all this. Adam might manipulate any secrets Rey shares out of her.

Back with Victoria, she finds Adam in Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) chair at Newman Enterprises. Victoria contends that Adam shouldn’t get used to it. She admits she’s fulfilled one of Adam’s demands and that’s help with tracking down Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan).

Victoria gives Adam the last known phone number Chelsea could be reached at. She agrees to provide $50 million instead of $500 million and warns custody of Christian Newman (Jude and Ozzy McMuigen) isn’t happening. Victoria insists the boy belongs with Nick, but Adam can still have his family back with Chelsea and Connor Newman (Gunner and Ryder Gadbois).

In private, Adam calls Chelsea number and gets voicemail. He hangs up and makes his way over to Sharon’s place, where he asks for help. Adam’s hoping Sharon will call Chelsea and help him drop the bomb that he’s alive. Sharon gets on board, so she calls and gets voicemail as well. She leaves a message for Chelsea to get in touch, so Adam’s appreciative.

At Jabot, the Abbott men discuss the copycat website out of Beijing. Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) points the finger at Summer Newman (Hunter King), but Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) dismiss her as a threat. Jack eventually suggests Chelsea might be stirring up trouble again.

At Society, Phyllis Summers (Gina Tognoni) talks to her business associate about the plan. Jack shows up and notes that it sounds intriguing. He wants to hear more, but Phyllis catches him off guard with her new site. It’s for a tech consulting firm, so Jack wishes her luck with that.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Lauren Confronts Phyllis

Once Jack finds Lauren and vents about the site copying Jabot Collective, she’s appalled. Jack seems to think Lauren knows more than she’s admitting. Lauren lies that she doesn’t before calling Phyllis to the coffeehouse. That brings Lauren’s fierce side as she scolds Phyllis for ignoring her warning.

Lauren gripes about Phyllis hurting her along with Jack. She gets Phyllis to confess she’s behind the site, but Phyllis feels it’s justified after how she was treated. Lauren resumes her rant and argues that Phyllis broke the law. She demands that Phyllis shut the site down within 12 hours. Meanwhile, Kyle has info for Jack. According to the tech team, Genoa City is where the site was developed.

Elsewhere, Billy praises Victoria after he hears how she handled Adam. That leads to some moments of passion in the car.
