When Adam shows Sharon the photo and asks who the little girl is, Sharon sees that it’s Delia Abbott (Sophie Pollono) and decides to let Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) explain. Over with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), he orders someone on the phone to watch Adam and report back.
At Society, Dr. Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) continues to flirt with Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway). She insists she’s sworn off men but seems charmed by his riddle. Soon after, Adam shows up and leaves Abby in shock. She quickly realizes the rest of the Newman clan knew and didn’t fill her in. That stings, but Adam offers an apology for leaving Abby out of the loop.
When the topic of Delia comes up, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) rants that she was his daughter and Adam killed her. He’s deeply disturbed by this info, but Victoria points out it was an accident. Adam takes in the hit-and-run details and learns the proof was hidden. He lets Billy know he’s sorry, but Billy doesn’t buy it since Adam can’t even recall running over Delia.
Adam eventually makes his way to Newman Enterprises. He lashes out at Victor for keeping this a secret, but Vic didn’t want to drop too many bombs at once. Now that Adam knows, Victor contends that he has to keep going. He wants his son to learn all there is to know about his old life, but Adam isn’t certain that’s a good idea.
In Mia Rosales’ (Noemi Gonzalez) suite, she argues heatedly with Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso). Arturo Rosales (Jason Canela) gets in on the drama as well, but things eventually settle down. Mia and Arturo love Rey, so they’re apologetic for the cheating scandals. Rey confesses that his feelings for Mia changed along the way, but he wasn’t honest about that before.
Mia worries prison is unavoidable now, but Rey hopes to help her wiggle out of it. He goes to Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) and explains all the details. Rey contends that Mia never wanted Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) to get hurt. He adds that Lola’s liver issue was found due to the incident so Mia may have saved his sister’s life.
Paul learns that Abby and Lola won’t be pressing charges. He mentions the cover-up and hears Rey’s view on the situation. Paul understands that Rey fights to protect the people he loves. He ultimately decides to drop the case, so Rey phones Mia to tell her she’s off the hook.
Rey also gives Sharon updates back at the cottage and wants Adam updates in return. Sharon would rather discuss that later, so they begin kissing passionately. Adam appears, so Sharon and Rey cut their make-out session short. After Rey exits, Adam confides in Sharon a bit. He’s having a rough time with all the Delia info, but Sharon assures Adam that he wanted to overcome his past and mistakes.
