Billy ends up going back to Phyllis’ suite with her so she can rant about his treatment of Summer Abbott (Hunter King).

Billy regrets his actions and wants to put that mistake behind him. Phyllis points out that she kept quiet, so she expects Billy to make amends. She wants capital to start a new business since her Fenmore’s plans were a bust.

Back with Victoria, she has flashbacks of difficult times with Billy, but she has some happy memories as well. Later, Billy returns and wants a proposal answer. Victoria decides she just isn’t ready to take this step. She reminds Billy that they were supposed to be taking things slow and doing it right this time. She isn’t turning Billy down permanently, but she can’t accept his marriage offer right now.

At the penthouse, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) learns Jett Slade (Gilbert Glenn Brown) and Ana Hamilton (Loren Lott) are having doubts about their upcoming performance. He doesn’t want to be too pushy, but he makes another convincing pitch and keeps them signed on.

Next, Devon suggests Ana and Elena could go dress shopping on his tab. Elena seems agitated and leaves the room, so Ana insists that Elena doesn’t like handouts. Devon presents a new plan later when he shows off some of Hilary Hamilton’s (Mishael Morgan) old dresses. Elena is hesitant since they belonged to his deceased wife, but Devon assures her that he’s fine with it.
