Young and the Restless Spoilers: Sharon Considers Dangerous Choice – Adam Needs Romance

The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) is actually considering getting together again with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). More than just compassion for his latest plight, or gratitude for supposedly saving her life more than once years ago, the path is now set for Sharon to revive Shadam if she so chooses.

Y&R has been crafting a very interesting storyline where the Adam character is concerned. In order to give the fourth adult actor who’s played Adam a fresh take, the writer’s room isn’t having him reconcile with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan), which seems to be her last name considering Calvin Boudreau’s (John Burke) sad and sudden demise.

No Chadam and no other woman in his life means that Adam needs someone to enable him. Hello Sharon!

Sharon’s belief that Adam saved her life once is valid. Michael Muhney (Adam) played the character when he rescued her from the fire she set at the Newman Ranch.

However, it’s debatable whether Sharon should give him credit for receiving the mental health treatment that led to her bipolar diagnosis. Adam did help her obtain treatment at that time. But as hardcore fans know, he took serious advantage of Sharon during that era as well.

The era is the keyword in the last paragraph, as Adam (as next played by Justin Hartley) continued where Muhney’s version went. Chelsea and Adam were together for years, in soapy time, and had a child, Connor Newman (as last played by Gunner and Ryder Gadbois). She was the woman who Adam cared for the longest period of time, therefore making her his true love. Y&R veered away from even having Sharon and interact when Hartley was portraying this man.

Sharon’s likely true love is Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). Yes, that’s debatable as well, but they’ve been married, had children, and remain in each other’s lives. But Chelsea’s with Nick again, thus reviving Chick, and there’s no current chemistry that would logically create another Shick sequel.

Y&R fans, like Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) and various others who know Sharon’s history, are rightly concerned that she seems to fully sideline history. Plus, Adam quickly spun out after recently returning to Genoa City, Wisconsin, where Sharon’s involvement in that process proved key.

Two people with a history of personal instability likely won’t mix well. That’s not something Sharon is open to hearing. And Adam, well, he does care for Sharon. But he’s also calculating that she’ll help to further his personal agenda, as her instant agreement to be considered a guardian candidate for his second son confirmed.
