Young and the Restless Spoilers: Sharon and Rey Romance Doesn’t Stand A Chance

The Young and the Restless rumors indicate that Rey’s (Jordi Vilasuso) budding romance with Sharon (Sharon Case) will come to an end when he discovers the truth about JT’s (Thad Luckinbill) murder.

Rey and Sharon have grown closer over the months, yet things have always kept them apart. Mia (Noemi Gonzalez) came to town to reunite with her ex-husband and Rey decided he wanted to give their marriage another shot. However, Mia’s unresolved feelings for Arturo (Jason Canela) are a lingering issue for the couple.

Aside from Mia, the other thing that threatens Rey and Sharon’s relationship is JT’s case. Rey was assigned to figure out who killed JT and Sharon being an accomplice in the murder has been under pressure from the rest of the group to distract Rey.

The Newmans aren’t going to be the only ones affect by JT’s murder, Sharon and Rey’s relationship will also be altered. When Rey learns Sharon was involved in the cover up and knew the truth the whole time, he’s going to be furious.

He’ll feel that Sharon’s feelings weren’t genuine and she was just using him to get information on the case. Even if Sharon tries to explain her actions to Rey, he won’t listen. Given his history of Mia lying and cheating on him, it’ll be hard for him to trust anybody else, including Sharon.

JT’s case is going to drive a wedge between Sharon and Rey, and there’s no telling when or if they’ll be able to repair their relationship. This news is going to be heartbreaking for Shey fans, who’ve come to root for the couple, but only time will tell what will happen with Sharon and Rey.
