Young And The Restless Spoilers & Recap Wednesday, March 20: J.T. Causes Gas Leak At Cabin, Will The Women Survive?

“Young and the Restless” (YR) recap for Wednesday, March 20, 2019 reveals that over at Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) house, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) keep up their talk about flying Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), Victoria, and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) out of Genoa City in front of the listening device.

They step aside and whisper about whether or not they can trust Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso). Nick doesn’t believe he’d undermine Sharon. They’re frustrated that J.T. Hellstrom (Thad Luckinbill) hasn’t materialized yet.

At the hospital, Rey takes a call from Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) about the missing women. He assures her he’s doing everything he can to find the escapees, but she’s not so sure.

JT: Hello ladies.
Victoria: You've been alive all this time? Why didn't you come forward?
JT: To watch all you guys squirm while the cops investigate you for my murder.
Nikki: How are you even alive?

Young And The Restless Spoilers – J.T. Hellstrom Hits Guard Over The Head

At the cabin, the women bicker, and Victoria reminds them they need to stick together. Outside, J.T.  hits the guard over the head as he finds his partner unconscious and missing his uniform. Inside, Victoria hears a noise and steps out.

J.T. grimaces as she calls, “Hello?” Sharon and Nikki join her and speculate that it may be the wind. They take a call from Nick. Victoria learns J.T. hasn’t shown up at the warehouse yet and promises not to leave the cabin. She disconnects and places her cellphone on the table. J.T. looks in at it.

Back over at Victoria’s place, Y&R’s Nick Newman heads out and agrees to meet Billy Abbott at the cabin later.

At the cabin, Nikki reassures the other two this will all be over soon. Suddenly, the lights go out. Victoria realizes the phone is gone.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – J.T. Hellstrom Smashes Burner Phone

Outside, Y&R’s J.T. smashes Victoria’s phone with a gun. Inside, the landline doesn’t work, and Victoria decides J.T. must be there. They grab something to protect themselves and Nikki Newman picks up the fireplace poker.

Victoria opens the door and hollers at J.T. that they’re armed and will protect themselves as they did before. They hear someone run and Victoria says they have to go. They re-enter the cabin where J.T. says, “Hello ladies.”

At the Athletic Club bar, Phyllis Summers (Gina Tognoni) encounters Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and tries to convince him she intended to help the women. She suddenly notices the television and exclaims that his wife and daughter are fugitives!

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Victor Newman On The Warpath

At the GCPD, Rey assures Christine of his loyalty and says he’s committed to doing the right thing. After, Nick appears and tells Rey he suspects J.T. might be onto them. Victor enters screaming about the police department finding his wife and daughter.

They pull him into a holding room and Nick explains he and Rey helped them escape. Victor learns they’re trying to lure J.T. to the warehouse and wants to talk to Nikki at the cabin. They can’t reach her. Victor is heading out when Christine interrupts. Rey says he called Victor and Nick in to reassure them. Christine is understandably skeptical. Rey hands Nick a note to meet in the garage and heads out.

Back over at Victoria’s house, Y&R’s Billy is about to leave, when Phyllis Summers shows up wanting to help the women. He urges her to just leave, but she feels terrible and is worried they’re in danger. Billy agrees and warns if this goes wrong it’s on her. Phyllis questions him leaving but he won’t divulge anything. She follows him out.

At the cabin, J.T. reveals he’s been watching the women since they tried to kill him. Victoria urges him to let Sharon and Nikki go. J.T. hands them cable ties and barks, “Hands and ankles,” then brandishes the poker and bets Nikki wishes she’d hit harder.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – The Trauma Of Being Buried Alive

He expounds on the sheer terror of being buried alive and Nikki retorts that he terrorized Victoria. J.T. reveals his weight, along with the dirt, broke a drainpipe and he went on a ride through the sewer system. He holds his head and grimaces in pain before aiming the gun at them.

J.T.’s angry when Victoria asks him to think about Reed Hellstrom (Tristian Lake Leabu) then says she let their son believe he abandoned him. J.T. wishes Victoria had just listened to him, then agonizes, “My head!”

Outside, Billy Abbott is startled by Phyllis Summers and asks what she’s doing there. She says, “You first.” Phyllis guesses the women are in the cabin and won’t leave. Inside, Victoria pleads with J.T. to let them get him to a doctor. He smashes things and a gas leak begins in the fireplace.

The women begin to choke on the fumes as Victoria pleads with J.T. He keels over unconscious. They cough, “J.T. wake up!” And that’s a wrap. Don’t forget to check often with Soap Opera Spy for all your soap needs!
