Young and the Restless Spoilers: Phyllis Faces A New Threat

Just because Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) received an immunity deal on ‘The Young and the Restless’ doesn’t mean that her troubles are over. While she believes that her cover-up crew misdeeds are behind her, a new threat has emerged.

Victor’s (Eric Braeden) wrath could be far worse than whatever amount of jail time Phyllis would have served. The Moustache’s awareness of her ratting out Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) means payback for the snitch. He’ll address Phyllis directly in this regard.

Phyllis said from the beginning that each member of the group Vickie called the Fearsome Foursome would need to look out for themselves. Phyllis’ recent deal with her biggest enemy, Cricket (Lauralee Bell), was actually telegraphed in recent weeks.

Devoted viewers recall that Phyllis tried to convince Sharon (Sharon Case) to work behind Nikki and Vickie’s backs, claiming that the Newman’s would turn on both of them when they had the chance. Sharon instantly rebuked the slanted offer and then smartly told her fellow crew members what happened.

That honesty helped Sharon at the time and will prove fruitful in the near future, as Victor applies punishment to Phyllis. The Black Knight’s creative mind will surely develop and implement a plan at an opportune time that delivers maximum mental pain.

Nick (Joshua Morrow) has stuck by his surprisingly revived love so far. Whether he continues to do so after learning Phyllis basically threw his mother, sister, and the mother of two of his children under a Genoa City bus Christine was driving remains to be seen.

Young And The Restless – Phyllis’ Past Sins

And yes, that was a wink at the long-ago storyline win which Christine and Paul (Doug Davidson) were purposely run down by Phyllis, who was then played by Michelle Stafford, which brings us to a final plot point.

While Cricket traded her desire to legally nail Phyllis, she is thinking that the actions of her nemesis will result in a different type of retribution occurring. That’s why Christine referenced Phyllis’ snake-ish turn. All Shick fans and those viewers who don’t like what Tognoni’s (and Stafford’s) well-played character is and was, want to see Red face at least some consequences. That’s where Victor will come in.
