The Young and the Restless spoilers find Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) so worried about her husband Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) that she is hiring Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) to find out what he’s been doing and where he is going. Here’s what you need to know.

For the last several weeks, Nikki has noticed her husband Victor has been acting very suspicious lately. He told her he was in New Zealand doing business, when in fact he was actually in Las Vegas.

The Newman family matriarch has now hired Genoa City’s finest ex-cop to not only hunt down her husband, but to find out the truth!

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Rey Rosales Back On The Case

Jordi Vilasuso, who plays Rey on the hit CBS soap, tells Soaps in Depth in a new interview: “Rey is a little hesitant to help Nikki. He’s been in town long enough to know that when it comes to the Newman family, there are always some strings attached, so he’s a little skeptical of Nikki’s proposal. But Nikki seems really vulnerable when she presents this, which hits that soft spot in Rey’s heart.

“Nikki knows that this guy has gone above and beyond for her family. She also does a little comparison between Victor and Rey, which strokes his ego,” he added.

“He’s back on a case, which brings out the cop in him. He loves to solve crimes and brings people to justice, so helping Nikki gives Rey a chance to use his strengths.”

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Was Her Husband Lying?

Now, whether or not Rey will be able to find out exactly what Victor has been up to remains to be seen. But then again, Nikki is not the kind of person who will just wait around until her husband comes home.

She wants to know what he’s up to and more importantly, she wants to know if her husband has been lying to her.

Of course, for Rey, the last thing he wants is to be caught up in any more Newman family drama. But then again, it’s not like he has anything else going on in his life right now. Of course, fans will have to tune in to find out what will happen next!
