Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) thinks Mia (Noemi Gonzalez) acted on impulse on the Young and the Restless. He’s familiar with her antics and most recently, he found out she mistook Lola (Sasha Calle) for Abby (Melissa Ordway) near the Abbott’s heated pool.
But is Mia telling the truth about being pregnant, or are her comments merely a ruse to avoid the consequences involving Lola’s attack?
The truth, whatever that is, can be quickly determined in today’s age of paternity tests. The laughter heard across Genoa City after that last sentence was read is fully justified. Various totally corrupt so-called scientific tests have been debunked, altered, fixed through bribery and other means throughout the years in GC. Detective Rosales will need to pursue answers, unless Mia changes her story and admits to lying in order to avoid arrest.
In recent episodes Mia THOUGHT she was lying and faked the test. But, what if she really is pregnant and has no idea yet? She may have provided a fake for no reason, which would certainly be ironic.
Young And The Restless – Rosales Family Weaved Into Main Cast
Vilasuso, Gonzalez, and Calle are fine additions who were added to Y&R’s cast. They, along with the first member of the Rosales family written into the show last year, Arturo (Jason Canela), injected a fresh take. This contingent represents the first entirely new family to be created by Y&R since Michael Baldwin’s (Christian Le Blanc) family expanded in the early part of the last decade.
Former executive producer and head writer Mal Young is credited with including characters who have been nicely weaved into many storylines and linked to the city’s leading personalities. Their ubiquitous presence on nearly every episode in recent months was done purposely however, as he intended them to be accepted as part of the main character cast.

Rey, in particular, is now trying to balancing the developments of the J.T. (Thad Luckinbill) case and Mia’s latest betrayals of trust. The potential drama created by having her actually be pregnant with his child would be compelling, mainly because of the shared love Rey and Sharon (Sharon Case) just professed for each other.
Young And The Restless – Will Lola Decide Not To Press Charges?
There are many ways that Young’s final scripts, which are scheduled to play out within the next handful of weeks, could keep Mia out of jail. One would involve Lola recovering and not pressing charges, especially if she knows a niece or nephew is on the way.
While Rey doesn’t need to look the other way, all that happened could then be resolved with some form of probation as the ‘Ria’ baby story evolves.
