The Young and The Restless spoilers tease that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will take control at Jabot in an upcoming episode of The Young and The Restless!

Young & The Restless Spoilers – Kyle Abbott Talked His Father Into Letting Him Be Co-CEO Instead of Co-COO At Jabot

Viewers of The Young and The Restless will recall from recent episodes that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) talked, or negotiated, his father into letting him be Co-CEO, meaning co-Chief Executive Officer of Jabot, rather than Co-COO, meaning Co-Chief Operating Officer, making him equal in power and control of the company to his father rather than equal in power to Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman), a step down the corporate ladder.

However, this week Jack will find himself having to regain control at Jabot, and possibly demote his son, when something goes awry in the office. There’s a good possibility that Kyle may get into a serious squabble with Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) who recently took Summer Newman’s (Hunter King) position when she got a promotion.

Y&R Spoilers – Theo Vanderway Is Head Of The Social Media Department

Theo is the head of the social media department, which is a big part of Jabot’s publicity and public image. Kyle was already disdainful of Theo’s efforts when he gave his underlings a pep talk taken solely from sayings on motivational posters, which entrenched in Kyle’s mind that Theo did not belong at Jabot and would only ruin their public image if not bring the company his grandfather worked so hard to build to ruins!

It was bad enough that his father invited Theo into the family, as his grandmother Dina Mergeron’s (Marla Adams) bastard grandson, let alone give him a job at the family company! Kyle, once best buds with Theo back in his party boy days in New York City, now considers him an embarrassment! Kyle wouldn’t even have hired him as a janitor!

Young & The Restless Spoilers – Theo Vanderway Recently Designed Some “Jabojies” Which He Described To Lola Abbott As Emojis For Jabot

Lola Abbott’s (Sasha Calle) acceptance of Theo and his working on his projects at Society, instead of in the Jabot offices is one big burr in Kyle’s bottom in addition to his being an employee at all! Kyle is skeptical that Theo isn’t trying to move in on his new bride, and feels like Theo is playing Lola and Lola is too naïve to believe Kyle. Really? – with a father like Adrian Rosales (Jay Montalvo) Lola wouldn’t be able to see through Theo if Kyle were right about him? That seems odd!

The day they were talking about the “Jabojies” Summer had called Lola on Kyle’s phone and begged her to tell her tired husband to come home and get some sleep, and apparently they used the photo function since he saw Theo there with Lola and was not real happy about it.

Y&R Spoilers – Kyle Abbott May Turn Down Theo Vanderway’s “Jabojies”

Kyle may turn down Theo’s “Jabojies” which was a project for work, simply because they are Theo’s own idea, not because they wouldn’t be good! Theo may protest, and Kyle, who had not addressed what he saw happening on the phone, may transfer what should be personal problems and make them professional problems, and Jack is likely to walk in on an argument between the two!

One express demand that Jack made of the Abbott family when it turned out Theo was a relative was to welcome him with open arms, and that would mean both at home and at work, now that he is an employee! Jack will need to take control of this situation and resolve it immediately and may need to take Kyle down a notch or two in the process!
