Summer Abbott (Hunter King) believes that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will realize the truth on the Young and the Restless. She thinks he is better suited to be with her, rather than with Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle). Whether that subjective perspective is one that Kyle eventually shares is a fully open question.

For her part, Lola believes she and Kyle are destined to be together. Society’s head chef continues to hold that hope because Kyle has asked her to be patient. Along with words, he’s most recently given her a necklace with a heart that represents their love and supposed future together.

Kyle has, without question, been sending mixed signals to both ladies in the weeks that have followed Summer’s selfless gift of her liver, actually half of that organ was transplanted into Lola.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Serious Verbal Confrontation

Summer’s stunning choice to have that type of risky operation didn’t serve to reduce the intensity of Kyle’s feelings for the gifted recipient, however.

Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) catch of Kyle kissing Lola in the area outside of Society’s kitchen created a serious verbal confrontation. Summer insisted that her father allow her to handle what she feels is her relationship with Kyle. But is that what Skyle actually represents, a true union?

Kola itself seemed destined until Mia Rosales (Noemi Gonzalez) misdirected an attack, which was intended for Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway). That event rearranged the deck chairs in what could prove to be a three-ship crash, with Summer, Lola, and Kyle’s lives all being mashed.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Will Skyle Officially End?

While Summer’s intentions are sincere, she can’t possibly allow Kyle to look longingly after Lola forever. In the same regard, while the necklace was a nice gesture, Lola will soon need Kyle to back his words with firm actions.

Either Skyle will officially end and Kola will revive, Kyle will come to believe Summer’s point of view shortly, thereby preventing a full reboot with Lola, or both ladies will inform Mr. Abbott that he doesn’t have two indefinite options.

An alternative option would seem hard to imagine, where Kyle keeps stringing along both people. But this is Genoa City where the daily grind of soap operas create the need for extended drama.
