Young And The Restless Spoilers: Ashley Returns As Dina’s Health Deteriorates

Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) is on her way back to Genoa City, and spoilers tease she will be back on the canvas by next week. But how long will she be in town?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) is bringing back Ashley back to settle some family and business matters. But while the last time she appeared she attempted to take over Jabot, it seems like she and her brother, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) are going to reach a truce.

Spoilers say that an outside force has become a threat to the family’s company, which prompted the siblings to stick together. It also looks like she’ll be at Neil Winters’ (Kristoff St. John) will reading, which will take place on Y&R next week.

In addition, they have to deal with a family issue. Dina Abbott (Marla Adams) has been suffering from Alzheimer’s disease, and it has reached a point now that her family has to decide the next step to address her health.

Young And The Restless Spoilers: Facility For Dina Abbott

Jack and Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) think it is time to find a specialized facility to give Dina the care she needs, and Ashley agreed to come home to help them work on it.

Young and the Restless spoilers tease that their transition would not be easy though. Dina will overhear her family’s talk about sending her to care facility, and she might take matters in her own hands. Would she be willing to go or will she make a fuss about it?

As it is, Ashley may be needed for some time, but it is unclear if Davidson is willing to return on a full-time basis. She decided to leave the Young and the Restless last fall, saying she wanted some time off from the grueling schedule of daytime television.

Rumors said that she left because of Mal Young, who was the reason for several other exits among the show’s top stars. But Davidson denied the speculations.

Young And The Restless Spoilers: Doesn’t Blame Mal Young

“Honestly, I didn’t leave because of Mal,” Davidson told Soap Hub earlier this year. “I’ve told everybody that but it doesn’t seem like anyone wants to believe me.”

“Yes I am leaving my second home @YandR_CBS in September. I’ve been so blessed to be able to play Ashley Abbott and work with the amazing people on the show and have nothing but gratitude and love for all!!! Time for a little more control over my day to day!”

Davidson did however express a willingness to return for short stints on Y&R. She previously returned to be part of the tribute episodes for the late Kristoff St. John and his character Neil Winters.
