The Young and the Restless rumors indicate that the subject of having children will be a source of conflict for Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso).

Last week, a paternity test revealed that Rey wasn’t the father of his wife Mia Rosales’ (Noemi Gonzalez) baby. The father of Mia’s baby is Arturo Rosales (Jason Canela), Rey’s brother. After the test results were revealed, Arturo and Mia decided to go back to Miami to start their new lives.

Rey was devastated over learning he wasn’t the father. During a heart to heart talk with Sharon, he explained how he loved children and wanted to be a father. Rey’s desire to have children may cause problems with he and Sharon.

Sharon is already a mother to three children. Her oldest children Noah Newman (Robert Adamson) and Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) are adults and have their own lives. When Sharon was with Dylan McAvoy (Steve Burton), she became pregnant, but later miscarried the baby. She would then unknowingly become involved in a baby switch with Sage Warner’s (Kelly Sullivan) son Christian Newman (Jamie and Alister Tobias).
