Young and The Restless POLL: Will Adam Seek Formal Full Custody Of Connor?

The Young and The Restless spoilers tease that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), now that Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) has moved in with him, at Connor’s request, Adam may seek formal full custody of his son in upcoming episodes of The Young and The Restless!

Young & The Restless Spoilers – Adam Newman Tried To Fight Nick Newman For Custody Of Christian Newman

Adam tried to fight Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) for full custody of Christian Newman (Alex Wilson) a few months ago, as Y & R viewers will recall. He did get some visitation but then gave in and gave up, and became obsessed with teaching his father, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) a lesson after Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) tried to run him over and he had mistakenly thought it was Victor.

That resulted in Adam’s tampering with Victor’s meds and Victor, in turn, playing dead and leaving little Connor among others in his family out of the loop which devastated and hurt Connor, along with Summer Newman (Hunter King). When Victor announced he was alive then both Connor and Summer were upset that they were lied to and Connor now thinks everybody lies to him, even his mother, although Chelsea Boudreau (Melissa Claire Egan) was left out of the loop as well. Chelsea let Connor move in with his dad after Nick convinced him to come back to Genoa City from Las Vegas for Connor’s sake. Adam may be a lot of things, but he definitely loves his kids!

Y&R Spoilers – Chelsea Boudreau Was At Her Wits’ End With Connor’s Acting Out Behavior

Chelsea was at her wits’ end with Connor’s acting out behavior when she agreed to let Connor move in with his dad. Connor had become surly, sassed back at Chelsea and Nick, possibly broke a lamp in his bedroom out of anger, hit a younger boy at school, locked Christian in the barn, and finally jumped off the top of the jungle gym and broke his arm, after announcing he was invincible! Right now, Connor doesn’t want anything to do with Chelsea and doesn’t want anything to do with Nick or Christian. He just wants to be with Adam! So Chelsea let him; but what will happen when she wants her little boy back?

Would Connor and Adam be okay with joint custody, split between living with Chelsea and living with Adam, or will Adam fight for full formal custody of Connor? A lot might depend on Connor; but then, a lot might depend on Adam too. He may take advantage of this situation and push for full custody, although it’s doubtful he would deny Chelsea visitation. But if Connor doesn’t want to live with his mother at all, then Chelsea is in a doubtful position in a custody case, since she gave in so easily to let him live with his dad! A family court judge may decide that Chelsea and Nick cannot properly parent Connor if this kind of acting out happened while in their care, and they failed to control their child, and that would put Adam in a distinct advantage to gain full and permanent custody of his son!
