We’ve got exciting news for Justin Hartley fans! The actor, who once played Adam Newman on The Young and the Restless, has just landed an exciting new role. The handsome young man currently plays the role of Kevin on the massive NBC hit dramedy, This is Us. Here’s what we know so far.

According to reports, Justin has been cast in a movie that unfortunately doesn’t have a working title, but has both a plot and crew. Deadline says that it’s about “what can happen when you love your phone more than anything else in your life.”

And from what we can tell, Justin is in good company with an A-list cast that includes Rose Byrne, Wanda Sykes, Ron Funches, Adam Devine, Alexandra Shipp, Michael Pena and Charlyne Yi in Lexi, a comedy from Bad Moms creators Jon Lucas and Scott Moore.

No other details have been released, although we will definitely update you once we get them. Either way, it’s great to see that Justin is becoming more and more recognized for his work in the entertainment industry and both on the small and big screens.

Now, as far as whether or not Justin will return to his daytime television roots remains to be seen. Although seeing how massively popular This is Us has been for him, it’s highly unlikely that he will be reprising his role as Adam Newman anytime soon.

Still, his fans are hopeful that anything can still happen at anytime. Right now there is no indication that the show’s producers will be bringing back the character in the coming months. The Young and the Restless airs weekdays on the CBS network. Check your local listings for times.
