Young And The Restless Last Week In Review: Kyle Makes Huge Mistake – Lily Wants To Break Free From Cane

There’s a new flip-flopper on the Young And The Restless (Y&R) and his name is Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). Kyle has been passing the buck with Summer Newman (Hunter King) since they got married. This week, it looked like his waffling between her and Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) is about to come back to haunt him.

Trying to appease Summer and make her feel like he’s putting Lola aside for the sake of their marriage, Kyle is playing a dangerous game. Y&R viewers have already seen what a scorned Newman woman can do when she’s done wrong. Abby Newman’s (Melissa Ordway) recent destruction of Arturo Rosales (Jason Canela) truck is just one example. So, Kyle had better watch his back.

Summer convinced Kyle to attend the opening of Abby’s new restaurant, Society. While he’s showering, she found a diamond encrusted heart necklace in the pocket of his suit jacket. She smiled, thinking it was a gift for her and then put it back.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Lola Rosales Loves Her Gift

She is none too pleased later when she sees Lola wearing it at the restaurant opening. Surprisingly, Lola looked happy with the gift. How many times in the past has she moaned to Kyle that she doesn’t want fancy presents from him? Suddenly, now that he’s married, it seems she’s OK with him spending a lot of money on her.

Abby Newman’s (Melissa Ordway) new restaurant Society was about to open but she had a big problem – no one was waiting in line to get in.

Meanwhile, at Y&R’s Crimson Lights, someone tossed a brick through the window when Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) were inside. Attached to it is a note that read: “Give up the gossip. You’re ruining people’s lives.”

Mariah and Tessa were scared and relayed the incident to Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso). Rey offered to investigate and advised the women to change up their routines.

Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) made yet another desperate plea to Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) to save their marriage. She’s been released from jail but also wants to be released from her prison of a marriage. I’m not a big fan of Lily’s, but in this case, I say Cane’s constant mantra of “give me another chance” is wearing thin.
