Young And The Restless Last Week In Review – Buzzkill Billy Spoils Victoria’s Vegas Escape – Lily Wants Freedom From Cane

It looks like Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) may come to regret her impulsive decision to hit the sack with Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) on Y&R this week. Sharon seemed to forget that although Rey told her he has split with Mia Rosales (Noemi Gonzalez), he’s still very much a married man.

That inconvenient fact was rubbed in her face when she returned home to find an envelope on her door. When she opened it, she discovered an ultrasound photo inside. The back of the photo had a chilling inscription: “For Rey, Baby Rosales’ first picture. xo, Mia.”

Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) finally wised up this week and came to the realization her husband Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) is a serial cheater. He’s been served with divorce papers, deservedly so, but he stubbornly headed to the prison to talk Lily out of it. She told him she’s being released early and plans on being a free woman in more ways than one.

She has heard Cane’s excuses many times and told him they were “stuck in a cycle of hurt.” Cane had the nerve to tell his wife that baby Sam would miss her. Y&R viewers know Sam is the bi-product of Cane’s affair with Juliet Helton (Laur Allen), and so does Lily. She responded that even though she does love Sam, she’s not his mother.

Cane left the prison a broken man. Later, feeling sorry for himself and clearly drunk at the Athletic Club bar, he ran into Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland). He got into it with Billy. Cane accused him of ruining his marriage by snitching to Lily that he kissed Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle).

Billy defended himself and refused to apologize. Things looked like they were going to turn physical, until Traci broke it up and offered to drive Cane home.

Finally, what happened in Vegas didn’t stay in Vegas, at least it didn’t for Victoria. She had a wild time this week on Y&R, partying with a band and hooking up with their lead singer Brandon Rose (Mitch Eakins).

But just as she was starting to enjoy herself and really beginning to let loose, buzzkill Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) showed up at her hotel room door.
