‘Young And The Restless’ Jordi Vilasuso Sends Heartfelt Message To Jason Canela and Noemi Gonzalez

Arturo Rosales (Jason Canela) and Mia Rosales (Noemi Gonzalez) are leaving Genoa City. The two stars recently wrapped up their last scenes on “The Young and the Restless.”

Co-star Jordi Vilasuso, who plays Rey Rosales, Arturo’s brother and Mia’s husband, shared that he is heartbroken that Canela and Gonzalez are exiting the soap.

In an Instagram post, Jordi shared a group photo of Y&R’s cast members, including Jason and Noemi.

“Feel blessed to have had @jasoncanela and @iamnoemigonzalez become like family to me,” Vilasuso wrote. “My heart broke today as they filmed their last scenes and are moving along in their journey.”

“They have inspired me beyond belief and I’m SO GRATEFUL to not only have worked with them but also to have grown with them. Here’s to my Rosales familia!”

Arturo was the first member of the Rosales clan to arrive in Genoa City in February 2018. “The Young and the Restless” added Rey in August the same year, as Arturo’s older brother. Their younger sister, Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle), came shortly after in September. Then Rey’s scheming wife, Mia, joined the family in November.

Just a little over his anniversary on “The Young and the Restless,” Canela announced that he was leaving the soap. “It’s time to turn the page and see what beautiful stories I am blessed enough to be a part of next,” he wrote on Twitter as his one-year contract with the daytime soap was approaching its end.

Young And The Restless News – Mia And Arturo Will Be Missed By Fans

Earlier this month, Noemi revealed that she, too, was about to leave “The Young and the Restless.” “It’s been a pleasure. Thankful, blessed, and honored,” she said on Instagram. “Gracias a Dios for this life-changing experience. One more month of Mia in Genoa City. Stay tuned for what’s next!”

While their departure could be part of the move to rectify many of the changes former Y&R head writer Mal Young introduced to the soap, many of their fans have expressed their disappointment  they are leaving the soap.

Some said they are going to miss Arturo and Mia, and that they had been a breath of fresh air on the Young and the Restless. Meanwhile, viewers can still watch Arturo and Mia on the Young and the Restless for at least the next month.
