Young and The Restless Gina Tognoni Moving On, Ready For ‘Newer And Richer Experiences’

The Young and the Restless star Gina Tognoni (Phyllis Summers) is ready for newer and richer experiences in her life. According to her Instagram account, Gina might be closing one chapter but knows that another one is about to open for her. Here’s what you need to know.

Sharing a photo of a quote by Eleanor Roosevelt that said, “The purpose of life is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for a newer and richer experience,” Gina captioned it simply with, “Today’s message in a bottle.”

It didn’t take very long for Gina’s social media fans to respond. Some of them wrote, “Message is so true. I can’t wait to see what’s next for you. It will be better than what you had on The Young and the Restless. Thank you for 5 years. I never did fast forward through ANY of your scenes. Such a fine actress and classy lady.”

Another fan wrote, “Awe……love! I’m gonna miss u like crazy on Y &R. I think I’m gonna stop watching it altogether. Why don’t us fans get a vote in this? I’m just still heartbroken and angry and sad. Wanted u to know how much I really like you and wanted u to stay. But I know u are one heck of a fighter and strong woman and you’ll be just fine. Take care and pls keep us updated!!!!”

Clearly, The Young and the Restless fans have spoken! They sure don’t appreciate how Gina was treated on the show and how she’s been literally left out the door just for Michelle Stafford to come in and swoop Phyllis Summers away from her. Of course, no one knows exactly what is going on behind closed doors but at the same time, fans aren’t getting much of an explanation, either!

With that said, it’s without a doubt that Gina Tognoni will find work in no time. As a matter of fact, we wouldn’t be surprised if we did end up seeing her on another daytime television show. We’ve got our fingers crossed for her!
